Design Sprint

University Brief

During my second year at university, I was given the opportunity to collaborate with Derby Museums Trust. We were asked to design a deckchair inspired by one of the exhibits at  the museum and art gallery. I was allocated the Bonnie Prince Charlie room which is home to a small collection relating to Prince Charles Edward Stuart (or “Bonnie Prince Charlie” as he is also known) and the Jacobite Rising of 1745. My design was centred around Bonnie Prince Charlie’s journey from Rome to Scotland where he built his army.
